DESCRIPTION:The Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs (MPEA) will again be hosting a series of town hall meetings to solicit the public’s views on the draft 2023-2030 National Policy for Improving the Lives of Persons with Disabilities. \nThese meetings will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the following locations: \n\nTuesday\, July 25\, at the Deighton Griffith School\, Kingsland\, Christ Church\nWednesday\, August 9\, at the Alexandra School\, Queen’s Street\, St. Peter\nWednesday\, August 16\, at St. Leonard’s Boys’ School\, Richmond Gap\, St. Michael.\n\nAll are invited to attend\, either in person\, or online at https://is.gd/PwD0823Draft. Hard copies of the Policy may be obtained from the Barbados National Public Library or downloaded by clicking here. \nFurther queries can be addressed by calling 256-4263. The public is also invited to submit queries or comments on the draft Policy to ps.people@barbados.gov.bb.
