The last few years have demanded resilience, adaptation, and a commitment to continued progress. Together, we undertook major internal restructuring to strengthen the Council’s capacity to serve its members, even as we continued to manage our projects and programs. This was not an easy task, but it was a necessary step toward ensuring that the organization remains responsive to the needs of those we serve. I am incredibly proud of the work we have done to develop our three-year strategic plan. This plan, born out of collaboration between the Council and its members, will serve as a roadmap to greater inclusion and empowerment for all.
Ever heard the saying “it’s better to give than to receive” well that also applies to time. By volunteering we support an organization or cause and make a great difference in our communities.
