Several members of the Rehabilitating and Enabling Society for Amputees (RESA) benefitted on Saturday evening from a Barbados Building Identifier (BBID) awareness workshop tailored for persons with disabilities.
The workshop was held at the Barbados Council for the Disabled, Harambee House, The Garrison and focused on promoting the use of the BBID as a critical tool when reporting emergencies, enabling responders to quickly and accurately identify building locations.
Our charity remains committed to inclusivity and building resilience and preparedness within vulnerable communities.

Ever heard the saying “it’s better to give than to receive” well that also applies to time. By volunteering we support an organization or cause and make a great difference in our communities. It’s also a great way to meet new people and learn about the challenges they face daily. Consider giving more than just money, give your time !
