Bill on the NATIONAL DISABILITIES POLICY IS CURRENTLY BEING Debated IN PARLIAMENT.

Image Featuring RoseAnne Tudor and Christopher Gilkes of the Barbados Council for the Disabled, listen to comments on NATIONAL DISABILITIES POLICY !

This process can be attributed not only to the current architects of the compiling and drafting of this DRAFT BUT to those persons who have worked TIRELESSLY behind the barriers and those who have gone to another space beyond.
Those stalwarts would be so pleased to witness this process being realized.
Also to the past Presidents of the Barbados Council for the Disabled (BCD) who selflessly gave of their life to help create the necessary changes to include ALL persons in our Society.
I now await the passing of the required Legislation before the end of this year (2024)
