Fraud Alert

Dear Members and Colleagues,

We wish to inform you and the members of the public of an email which is being circulated soliciting funds on behalf of Ms. Kerryann Ifill of the Barbados Council For the Disabled.

As a precaution we are providing this notice to help you protect yourself from this fraudster. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or concern this may cause you.

We recently learned that an unauthorized individual or individuals, using the address dilligentexcellentmember@gmail.com has been circulating an email which is supposedly sent from Ms. Kerryann Ifill, requesting the receiver to undertake a confidential matter which is to purchase a number of cards in the amount of $1000.00 for which they will reimbursed, the email is signed – Kerrie-Ann Ifill, Commander in Charge, Barbados Council for the Disabled.

We are formally stating that this person is in no way attached to, nor authorized by Ms. Ifill or the Barbados Council for the Disabled to solicit any monies on her behalf, we are also advising our members and the public not to send any monies to this person or persons.

We have reported this incident to the Financial Crimes Investigation Unit who will be launching an investigation.
