The Barbados Council for the Disabled (BCD) recently convened its Annual General Meeting at the picturesque Barbados Yacht Club on Saturday, October 21, 2023. The event, which brought together key stakeholders, members, and supporters of the organization, featured a compelling presentation by the Guest Speaker, Mr. Anderson Langdon, the Executive Director of the Barbados Family Planning Association.
Mr. Langdon’s presentation, titled “Redefining the Future of NGOs: A Call to Action,” underscored the urgency and importance for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to adapt their operational strategies and governance procedures to ensure their continued relevance in the third sector.
