Olga Millar Nursery first to launch Inclusive School Project by BCD.
Students of Olga Millar Nursery will now be the beneficiaries of a newly opened sensory room – this calming space is one of 4 projects to be undertaken via the Barbados Council for Disabled’s My Inclusive School (MIS) Project. The other schools involved include St Martin’s Mangrove, St Bartholomew’s Primary & Harrison College.
All of our students deserve to be educated in an inclusive environment – taking into account all varying learning styles and abilities.
The opening of this sensory room lays the foundation for the provision of more inclusive spaces for our students as we seek to transform our education system to one which is Fair, Inclusive, Relevant and Modern.
